The North Jefferson Improvement Association is a rural preservation company serving 10 towns in Northern Jefferson County and has been providing safe, decent and affordable housing and access to health care services since 1977.

Owner- Occupied Rehabilitation Program
The North Jefferson Improvement Association has been awarded a HUD North Country HOME Consortium Owner-Occupied Rehabilitation Grant to improve single-family owner occupied eligible households in the Towns of Alexandria, Antwerp, Cape Vincent, Clayton, Orleans, Pamelia, Philadelphia, Theresa, Wilna and the hamlets contained within.
First Time Home Buyers Program
Up to $26,000 is available for income eligible households for down payment, closing cost and post closing rehab.
Immediately Seeking General Contractors
Clayton Improvement Association is immediately seeking insured General Contractors that are willing to bid on home improvement projects. These projects can range in price up to $60,000 each.
